What is Nakshatra?
The sidereal zodiac is divided into 27 Nakshatras of 13°20′ each. RASHINOS derives the Nakshatra and its pada from the Moon's exact sidereal longitude — never from a lookup table.
How it is calculated
The Nakshatra index is floor(longitude ÷ 13°20′). The position inside the Nakshatra, divided by 3°20′, gives the pada (1–4). The same half-open-boundary and sensitivity rules apply as for Rashi.
